Hi fellow authors,
The Writing Process Blog Tour is essentially a 500ish word blog post in
which authors answer 4 questions, acknowledge the author who invited them
and announce (if you can find them) three authors who will be posting the
following Monday. If you want to promote your book, but don't have a blog, I
would be happy to have you as a guest blogger on my website.

This opportunity came my way via a blind romance novelist from Utah named
Traci McDonald. I'm looking for three other authors to do blogs on June
23rd.
Below are the particulars. Please let me know ASAP . If you would like to do
it, I will need a JPeg of you and the links you want me to promote in my
post on June 16, which will announce your upcoming post. .
Best,
Donna

Thanks so much for considering participation in the Writing Process Blog
Tour. It's pretty straightforward but please ask questions if you have them.
You will post your answers to the 4 questions below along with tagging me at
the beginning of your post (on your blog, on your website), then tagging
three other authors at the end of your blog. They will post their blog on
Monday June 23 Once you post your blog, tweet it out and post it on
Facebook! The hashtag we are using is #MondayBlogs. I also noticed a few new
hashtags specific to this tour: #writingprocess #mywritingprocess and
#WritingProcessBlogTour.

Of course there's always #writing and #amwriting.

Other authors who have participated said they get tons of hits on the day of
their blog. Plus, it gives us a chance to network with new authors and
expand our writing tribe!

My post will be coming Monday (June 9 th) so yours would be posted the
following Monday, ((June 16th) Below are details about how it works:

My Writing Process - Blog Tour

Step one: Acknowledge the person & site that involved you in the blog tour
(that's me).

Step two: Answer the 4 questions below about your writing process

1) What am I working on?

2) How does my work differ from others of its genre?

3) Why do I write what I do?

4) How does your writing process work?

Step Three: Say who is on next week (your own chosen three) - give a 1-2
line bio and link to their website. You'll need to find three other writer
friends to ask to do the same a week after you, and so on and so forth. Here
is a link to a previous example from the Writing Process Blog Tour:

And another example:

Don't feel any pressure to get three author's or any unless you know people
who'd be interested. Just post your blog and the other contributors to the
tour will keep it going. I'd love to include you on my blog so I hope you
feel like you could join me.
