[stylist] This morning... Mystery Drop

Ann,
I thoroughly enjoyed this. First, I can relate to once in a blue moon
actually remembering a dream, and the curse of being too literal is one that
I have been accused of as well. But, if you want to go deeper into the
Reader's Digest, one could say that you're being given something that is the
essence of your readers ... And you won't take delivery because you think
the price is too high? What's the matter with you! *grin*

Subject: [stylist] This morning... Mystery Drop

Dear Reader,
This is a true story which I recalled this morning. I was planning to
write about it when I saw the invitation.

This morning I awoke to the amazing fact that I had recalled a dream: not my
usual three or four word recollections but an actual scenario.
I was reclining in the grass at my home and looked up to see a squareish,
black thing flying to the right of me. It was about two feet on each side.
It then turned and passed over my left shoulder. I wondered what it was
when suddenly, it came right towards me.
The next thing I knew, I was coming too from a dead faint. "What happened?"

"What was that?"
Allow me to backtrack before I continue. I am totally blind, but not in
this dream. I saw the thing. For some reason, an instructor from the
Department of Rehabilitation was standing next to me. She said "It is a
large print copy of the Reader's Digest and it came in a drone. Oh, and by
the way, there is a bill inside for $395."
"What?" I said. "I am not paying that. How do I get out of it?" "Push the
return button on that drone and return it."
The rehab person said to write a letter. So in my dream, I whitnessed my
hand penning the letter on black lined paper in script. Here is what it
said:
Dear Sir:
I did not order this book and am not paying for it's delivery. I know
nothing about it. I am not paying for it! I am pushing the return button on
the drone.
Sincerely,
Ann Bliss
So now I ask those of you savvier than I, what is the dream symbolism Of
both the Reader's Digest and Drone delivery? Neither of these appear in the
Encyclopedia of Dream Interpretation. I have a very literal mind and do not
do symbolism. In fact, I received a "C" on a Spanish lit paper with the
comment that I was too literal.
I suppose that if I were to blame someone for putting this thought in my
mind and consequently into my dream, it would have to be Amazon with their
proposed drone delivery. As to the Reader's Digest, well I am still
pondering that one.
