[stylist] writing bios for dating sites

Again, this is a personal decision, but for me, blindness is not a
defining factor at all. It has no bearing on my ability to have a
relationship, and it's not really anything that would greatly affect
another person. If you want to get to know me, it will obviously come
up, especially if you meet in person, but it has nothing to do with my
personality, my interests, dreams. It doesn't seem that important to me
to make clear on a profile of any kind. Like you should want to connect
with me because we share an interest or love nature or share personality
traits that may make us connect. Info like this seems important for a
dating sight, or dating in general, but a physical or sensory disability
doesn't equate to any of this, and therefore seems like unnecessary
info.

Just my 12 cents worth, grin.

Bridgit

I always say it right out in a dating site.

When doing cover letters for stories you aren't selling yourself, just
what
you produced, that is why I haven't done it on those, but on a dating
site
you are telling them about yourself and one of the big things is blind.

My eleven cents.
