One thought is - and I pass this on to anyone who asks us, the NFB Writers'
Division if we accept credit cards for the payment of dues, or the entry
fees for our contest ... PayPal, will take a credit card; the buyer does not
have to have a PayPal account, but of course, you as the seller would have
to have a PayPal account to get the money.

Subject: [stylist] Anyone have experience with accepting credit cards?

Hi, all,

As my book gets "out there," I'm starting to get requests to accept credit
card payments...I'm selling my book independently (I like being able to
sign and inscribe them before sending or delivering them), so I'm exploring
options. PayPal is another, but more people request that I accept cards.

Does anyone selling their books, etc., have experience with this method of
payment? Anything more or less accessible? How is customer service? Do you
prefer any specific vendor?

Any news will be helpful, as I know absolutely nothing about it. Right
now...I'm doing this slowly and quietly, just announcing my book to the
people on my lists.....

Thanks so much,

Helen
