[stylist] Slogans for White Cane and Pedestrian Safety observances

Hi, List.  

 

In about a month many of us will be participating in observances of White
Cane and Pedestrian Safety Day.  

 

I came up with some slogans that could help get our message across on
signs,shirts, or in other announcements and communications.  

 

I will paste some ideas below.  See what you think and use them if they
inspire you.

White Cane Slogans 

 

Hit and run; good in baseball, bad in driving.  

Pay attention, it only costs a moment.  

A rushed right on red could make someone dead.  

Beware of the dog that guides even in fog.  

The white cane we wield, so be sure to yield.  

Look for the blind as we listen for you.  

The white cane is my shepherd's staff.  

Give way to the paw, it's the law.  

Watch for the wheelchairs, this isn't roller derby.  

Those who need to rol Really rock as well.  

There are other wheels than cars on the road.  

Watch like a hawk for those who walk.
