Thanks for sharing.  I will have to think about this poem before I say if I liked it or not; it is definitely powerful stuff.

I have absolutely nothing against controversial work; if we can't communicate about these issues, then we can't resolve them.

Some folks kill the baby before it comes to birth,

They overanalyze and question what's the worth.

They see the growing form, they hear the steady beat,

And still they second-guess, debate, decide, delete.

Gone now is that baby that never had a chance,

Inspiration succumbed to logic's edit dance.





So, I didn’t want to comment before I pasted it but what do you think?  I’m sure I’m not the only way who feels this way about things I write, am I?
