Rowena,
Are you getting individual or digest emails? If individual, you just reply
to the ones you wish to comment on. If digest, it's best to change the
subject to "re: ... And the subject line you wish to comment on.
Personally, I'm swamped with emails, but I find the digests so cumbersome,
that I prefer getting the individual ones.
