Hi, Sarah,

I have not used Inspiring Voices to publish my books, however, I have published numerous books and may have some suggestions for you.

If you simply want to publish an ebook, I highly suggest going through Smashwords.com <http://smashwords.com/>. It requires a simple Word document with very simple formatting guidelines. As a result, your book will be distributed to all the major book channels and will be converted to all the various ebook formats. This service is free but it does require you to advertise your book to let people know that it is available.

CreateSpace.com <http://createspace.com/> by Amazon is another free service that enables you to publish a paperback book and a Kindle book. This requires a bit of formatting experience, so it might not be an option for you.

I hope this helps,

Good afternoon. Thank you for the book publishing information. The books I have written are Christian fiction and a series. My boss is going to edit them for me since he is the writing coach at the college and worked at a bookstore for many years. Has anyone used the website www.inspiringvoices.com to publish books? I am probably not able to afford an agent even though that would be the best way to go. How do you upload a book to Bookshare? What format do the books have to be in? I write the first draft on my Braille Sense then use Jaws and my focus 40 blue to write subsequent drafts. Would using a tablet or a laptop be a better option? Thank you.
