[stylist] A free verse sonnet to share

Myrna,
I don't think I commented, though I read this several time.
It is beautiful, and I like it that it breaks the rigid format yet is still
a sonnet.
It has such inspirational lines. I do not know if you enter contests, but if
you do, it could almost be considered an Ars Poetica. It might not qualify
as a sonnet, but there are many other categories it would qualify in such
"Words," or "Peace."

Whispered Words

Across the span of my changing times
Are the whispers of words in eternity,
Waiting to be heard in prose and rhyme,
Thus completing their destined journey
Where their whispers will always echo
Within a soul needing its release,
And a heart in want of reality's glow 
Searching for honesty's peace.
A sky awaits the sentences they will write
With stars and clouds and moon and sun,
In colors bold, clarity in the light
That shines with hope, together as one.
Paper and pen also wait with a single sigh
For those whispered words that fall from the sky.
