And because you read all the time, people probably thought you
had "poor social skills"? God I hated when people said I had
really bad social skills just because I liked reading?
But I'd rather have read during lunch in school than go up to
someone new and risk being rejected.
My character will definitely be doing this too.

I was always in trouble for reading when I was supposed to be
sleeping, reading during classes that were boring, and reading
when I was supposed to be being sociable as a child. Lol. I
just couldn't keep my fingers out of a book. I didn't like
Talking Books so much when I was younger, but now I enjoy books
that are read aloud to me. I can do stuff while listening.
