Oooohhh, how pretty. We have plastic ornaments on our tree, with a couple of
exceptions that are hung higher up. With a three-year-old, it's safer this
way, smile. He's not too bad with the decorations, but he does like to touch
and misplace around the house. Found a Santa figurine in a drawer the other
day, LOL! And his first Christmas ornament is frequently in his room. Our
ornaments on the tree are very pretty and actually look like glass but are
in fact plastic. We have Christmas items like trumpets and icicles and
snowflakes and gifts and snowmen all in gold, red and green with a frosted
glaze. I would love more than one tree, but I'm not sure where we would put
it. I love Christmas and decorating for it.

I leave for my writing conference December 28 and do not return until
January 6. Excited and nervous and hope my writing fruits are plentiful
indeed.

Happy Christmas to everyone!

Bridgit

In reply to your question about an angel, I have several that I use every
year in decorating. I have several trees in the dining room and living room
- the trees have crystal angels on them. The trees are decorated with the
crystal angels, hand blown glass decorations that I bought on year at Pier
I. they look like a glass cone with a bouquet of glass flowers in them -
suspended by a silver hanger from the branches. GORGEOUS! The trees also
have silvery turquoise glass balls. I like them very much because they
reflect light, as well as the transparency of the crystal - they shimmer at
night when the lights on the trees are lit. I am a glass-a-holic so the
entire house is a collection of hand blown art glass from American artists
as well as Venice, Italy.

Another angel is suspended from crystal lights that span the space between
the colonnade. This one is hand crafted and I bought it at a Christmas
market a few years ago. She is all dressed in a white gown and she's about
12 inches tall. I suspended her from a ribbon so she hangs amid the white
lights.

I wrote an article on angels recently that you may enjoy reading on the
blog, "SCANdalous - Recollections." It is titled "I Believe in Angels."

We put an angel ornament on the top of our tree (always have). This year, I
left the angel on all night and the light burnt out, now it doesn't light up
(bummer).

Hello all,
What is your experience with angel ornaments? Do you put one on your
Christmas tree? Have you seen or touched an angel ornament? We put crystal
angel ornaments on our Christmas tree.

For one thing, the rhyme and meter of this poem sing to my heart. I also
like that this is a story.

I am writing a series of books that take place in the Texas Panhandle,
which is where I live. The names of the towns are different. They are
Christian fiction and romance novels. The first book in the series is A Song

in the Heart. I'm not great at writing the descriptions of the books I
write. Here is the description of the book that was just released.
Kade Blackwater needs a career change. Ashley Cantrell is a divorced mother
of two waiting for God to bring the right man into her life. Will Kade and
Ashley srust God to write their love song?
