[stylist] stylist Digest, Vol 140, Issue 10

Tree decorating has several chapters just like my life. I remember as children we would decorate the tree with glass ornaments. We probably had an angel I don't remember. I know that we had a star. When I moved out on my own 30+ years ago I decorated the tree but I really don't remember if I had angels.
Then, when I went to work and before that when I was in college full-time I didn't really decorate the tree with angels. I had a glass angel that I bought somewhere I can't remember where and it was out all year round. Then, I moved to Texas and lived most of my decorations in California. So, I am in the midst of replacing them. I have a star that Isabel that is made of copper but it won't fit on the tree. I just bought an artificial tree this year and some ornaments and brought some of my treasured ornaments from California. They have an assortment of shapes and sizes including glass and ceramic and plastic.
Next year I will decorate the tree with the star and an angel for two or three. What is Christmas without stars and angels? So I will lean toward getting glass angels because I prefer a glass. I love the description of the one with the flowers I think I will go for that one but I will be on the lookout for angels and stars next year. This is the first Christmas I haven't worked in about eight years and I never really went all out and decorated my tree though I had one. I kind of prefer a more simple arrangement and I prefer the lights. I like to sit at night and watch the lights and I was thinking this year that I definitely need A star and Angel.
