Hi you two!
Please accept my apologies, but on the day I received both of your payment
of dues, I must have gotten distracted, and did not follow through with all
of my normal response duties! Meaning, I would have sent you an email
thanking you for joining. Also (and this part I did do), I sent your request
to receive the Braille Monitor in print, on to the National Office. (As I
did send in that request, I had a thought running through my head, and that
was- "Okay, one of them wants a print copy; does this mean the other person
does not want their own copy, in any other format -email, Braille or on a
thumb-drive]?" I assumed not, but thought I'd ask.) And the final
thought/comment here is, as to when you will start receiving the mag...I
think it takes a month or two. (The Monitor can be read on line, in print or
can be listen to as a MP3 recording, or downloaded as a Word file [On
http://www.nfb.org by going next to the publications page, then to the
Braille Monitor[.)
I did see that you posted to our mailing list, STTYLIST. Great!
Then, on the Chat list...where did you find that reference? I'm curious,
because we deleted that list a couple of years back! And thought that all
reference to it had been found and deleted. (Knowing where you found it will
help me to make it disappear, and so not frustrate others in the future.)
Thanks
Good luck finding anyone to market your writings!! Most of our members who
have books out, are using the self-publishing outlets, like Amazon,
SmashWords, etc. And also, we have two members who have started up their own
book publishing businesses. Here is the email address for Justin Oldham, I
know he is still active: joldham at gci.net also, here is the URL to the
contact page on his business website:
http://shadowfusionbooks.com/sfb_contact.html
(I'd have to email the other guy to see if he is still in business.)
So...I feel better now that I've written this email; I am a good
communicator, and hate it when I learn I messed up. So again, pardon. And
hey, if you ever wish to talk, CALL! 402-660-1743

Subject: [stylist] Curious about the writer's chat list
Hi again.
My husband and I tried to join the writer's chat list that is supposed to
be geared toward general convo, ETC and it seemed inactive/not working, so
wondering if it's dead or if we're missing something.
This cite is a bit confusing to navigate and isn't the most blind friendly
amusingly enough. Hey but it gives us fodder for our comedy. HAHA.

I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.
I get along with the voices inside of my head.
