[stylist] believing the unbelievable

Eve,

Yes, it does make sense. Thanks. Do you mind me asking if you're a
practicing Wiccan? Or some form of paganism? And if so, what specifically? I
apologize if I'm using incorrect terminology; this is just what I have
learned from books, online research and people I know who are Wiccan. But
I'm by no means in my area of expertise here, smile. And what exactly is the
point of divination? I'm use to hearing about it in text referring to
ancient history, but not sure how or why it's practiced today. I know you
just gave a description, but can you please elaborate? When you are less
tired, smile.

Bridgit

I read most of this via iPhone earlier and was waiting until I came home to
respond. I do not remember all I was going to say now and am too tired to
reread everything. Sorry.
I do think there was something about negativity and cleansing of stones that
was in this thread. This is something that sometimes I have picked something
up and felt the negative energy that had been placed there by a previous
handler. Cleansing the energy brings it back to positivity though and I have
never had luck with washing in the human way like with soap and water. Salt,
sage and blessings are the best. Let the elements take away the negative
energy and turn it into something else or redirect it to where it is needed.
Remember, negativity is part of that balance we all crave. We just want it
in the right place or form.
Sem I think was talking about different psychic impressions and it made me
think of a class I went to a few months back. It was a divination class that
was supposed to be on "The Purpose of Divination". It was great for the most
part, but there was a teacher there along with 4 or 5 of her students.
Somehow, they started taking over from the instructor and giving
demonstrations. It turned into a divination for profit class. This drives me
nuts.
At one point, we were doing candle scrying. Now scrying is what I primarily
do. The instructor and her students specialize in Tarot. Both are good so it
really has nothing to do with that, but I am just pointing it out as I know
what I am doing when it comes to scrying. Morgan, the instructor, kept
calling on her students to do readings and would literally turn her back on
anyone else. One of the people who was working the candle was perplexed by
what each of the students were saying about his wax. They all of course were
in complete agreement and it truly sounded as if they were trying to see the
Tarot in his wax. When I tried to speak up, I was rebuffed by the teacher.
The guy who had received the reading went and sat down and was quite shaken.
I followed him and asked if I could give him my reading of what I saw. He
agreed and after I was done, his whole spirit had changed.
Nothing that had previously been said to him made any sense what so ever.
It was confusing and disturbing to him and he felt it was hogwash. Which was
usually a good body wash and conditioner for the dry skin the hogs were
prone to.
Oops, I regress. Sorry.
Well, he felt a calmness and understanding with my reading. Said it made
sense and he felt good about it. Now it was not that I gave him a reading of
unicorns and butterflys that smelled of roses. It brought out some major
challenges he needed to overcome in life and assigned tasks. It was just
that he was receptive to it.
The point is that we are all receptive to different things. I do not
believe that Morgan is a fraud and I truly do believe that many of her
students are also worthy psychics. They just were not right for the receptor
at that time.
Oh maybe later I will get some energy and reread things, but for now, I hope
that makes sense.
