I am notorious for using the wrong email and my posts here usually bounce 
back to me as the one did this morning - so I am hoping by attaching to 
another post I had read it will work now.

I wanted to share the post I wrote for today on one of my blogs since it is 
about an event in WWII that took place in Czechoslovakia.  Here is the link

Yes, Bridgit, it is by and  for Tanka enthusiasts. Founded in 2000 - home
office is Pasadena, CA. It's a well  organized, productive group of writers
for a specific genre (Tanka, related essays and book reviews). They publish
a beautiful journal - Ribbons_ three times a year. I became interested in
pursuing Tanka when I decided to write a poem a day in April for National
Poetry Month.  Of course, doing a poem a day was unrealistic as I am quite a
slow, meditative type of writer/person. But it is  the poignant  Japanese
sensibilities, use of space and voice  in Tanka that interested me - and I
focused solely on this form at that time.  My curiosity about the form led
me to hidden treasures and discoveries for this exquisite poem form.  I am
hooked!  Lynda
