I would ask for clarification. Since online writing groups do not count as
publishing when sharing work, I would want that specific clarification.

Subject: [stylist] The most important rule for poetry contests, NFSPS

Here is the one for the biggest contest which covers most state poetry
societies. I enter at least 35 here each year. I find this rule a bit
confusing. Clarification as pertains to our list? I think it is Bridgit's
reading of the rule, but not positive.

CONTEST RULES
(Read carefully. Any violation will disqualify entry) 1. Any poem submitted
must:
a. Be the original work of the contestant, unpublished in any form,
including electronically and placed on exhibition, not under consideration
or accepted for publication. (Award will be recalled if a winning poem is
found to be in violation of rules before publication in the NFSPS anthology
of prize poems, and lower prizes and honorable mentions will move up in
classification);
