[stylist] Anthologies

Vejas,

Do you mean a collection of stories? Anthologies are publications that
contain stories from several authors, published by some one else. When a
writer publishes several of their short stories, it's a collection of
stories. Sometimes each story fits a common theme or has a narrative thread,
but many are also just a collection of the authors best work.

Subject: [stylist] Anthologies

Hi,
Hope you guys all had a great Thanksgiving break.
I have written many short stories, and plan to write more of them in the
very near future. I know that sometimes people will create an anthology
with their short stories.
Does anyone know what is necessary to make an anthology unique?
Should all the stories in the anthology have one main theme or idea? I know
there has to be something unique about an anthology in order for it to be
published.
Vejas
