Vejas,
What a thoughtful well done poem. It is original, works in the rhyme pattern
so naturally, and gives one much to think about.
I do hope you will keep writing poetry, for I think there is budding talent
there.
And a warm holiday to you also.

Time is the fire in which we burn.

Notifications
by Vejas Vasiliauskas
Notifications happen every day,
You read them, and they go away.
Sometimes, they will go change your life,
While sometimes, it's drama and strife.
Notifications fill you up inside,
Or maybe, make you want to cry.
You check sometimes, and there are none,
You ask yourself, where is the fun?
Notifications sometimes make me stressed,
Which dorm or suite or house is best?
This form is one I must fill out,
This paper's due, without a doubt.
Notifications sometimes make me sad,
My real good friend is feeling bad.
The friend, they took an overdose,
This is so scary, we're so close!
Notifications sometimes make me say,
"Checking hourly's not OK!"
Somets there's better things to do,
Than see if I got one from you.
