Breath and Shadow

Volume 13Number 3

Summer 2016

It is hot here in New England-a great time to find a cool spot, kick back
and catch up on the Summer issue of B and S. We feature poems by Freedom
Chevalier, Ana Garza G'z, Sergio Ortiz, Hayley Haugen, Todd Hanks and Jane
Ammon-including one of her photographs. We have short fiction by Ed Turner,
Christina Borden and Diane Baumer. We kick off this issue with a book
excerpt from John Thomas Allen's memoir, there's a creative non-fiction
piece by Nina Fasati and lastly, a review of Chen Guangcheng's memoir, The
Barefoot Lawyer, by Chris Kuell.

Our editors hope you enjoy this issue of Breath and Shadow. Please share and
