[stylist] Does Anyone Write Daily as a Routine No Matter What's Going On?

People who write daily don't necessarily write the same thing or on the same
topic, unless working on a project they need to finish. And often, during a
writing exercise, you will find inspiration for a current project or idea.
But the thought is to just do it everyday, no matter what you write.

It may be on something you want to work on. A character composite. A plot
idea. Maybe just a story outline. It could be writing exercises or
journaling.

But me personally, no, I don't write daily. I'm not a morning person, so
waking up early to write doesn't work for me. And I have young children, so
it's not always an option. If something strikes me or I have an idea, I will
take time to write it down, but I don't write everyday. When my kids get a
little older, and I can have a more consistent schedule, I may do so, but
it's not something I currently do.

A lot of writers do but not all. It's a personal choice, like most things,
and really depends on your schedule and lifestyle.

Hi all,
A friend of mine who likes to write makes it a habit to do so daily.
I would really like to do this. I did not write much as an LCB student but
have definitely done some more writing in the past few months, although not
as much as I would like to. The problem is that I don't always know what I
would want to write on a given day. For example, for a story I'm working on
about 2 friends lives during and after spending time together in a training
center, I may not have ideas every single day on what I want to happen. I
would just like to know how these of you who write daily keep it up
consistently despite writers block Thanks, Vejas
