Another blind priest. He's interviewed about art and disability:

Oh yes, Milton. Fanny Crosby wrote poetry as well as thousands of hymns. I'm familiar with many of her hymns, but not her poetry. Yes, I know, songs are a sort of poetry, but she has foems that were never put to music. I have tried doing searches before for blind people who are doing certain things, and have not had much success, either because there aren't blind people doing those jobs or they aren't famous enough to be on Google's radar. For instance, I wanted to find out if there were any blind Catholic priests. Zilch. Debby

As I said in cy email, I just don't know of other blind authors. But you did remind me of Jean Below. So now, we have two, Beverly Butler and Jean Little. Any o?rs out there that adybody knows of? Debby

I remember reading one called mine for keeps I think the girl had cerebral polsey "i can't spell this early in the morning" Perhaps we should try to list all the blind authors, just to see how many there are and make people aware of authors they didn't know about yet.

They may have even known each other. I like reading fiction by blind authors, although I haven't seen much, except on this list. I have read lots of memoirs and all, but not much fiction. If anyone has names of blind authors who have written fiction, I'd love to hear who they might be. Debby
