Jackie, this is just the PERFECT word.
NOW!
Once I had my word (Intentional) for the year, I am finding that it is on my
mind constantly.
I know I am going to be intentional in all areas of my life this year.
My word came to be before I even started to consider what it should be. It
came several weeks before the end of the year.
Have a great year, Jackie. I just learned my book will most likely be
coming out around the end of this month - so I am feeling like an expectant
mother-to-be tonight.
Hugs, Lynda

Lynda,
As usual your articles are an inspiration. It has required much thought to
think of just one word as the focus of this entire upcoming year. I have
considered so many.
Here it is. "Now."

Greetings on the final day of 2016.
With the year nearly behind us, I am feeling exuberant and hope-filled on
the brink of a brand new year ahead. Do you also love new beginnings and new
adventures?
Are you feeling the excitement, too? It seems like each day brings
something unique & profound. I will share just 2 new events with you in this
note.
One:
On the final week of this year, I have a new beginning already in progress.
I’ll be writing articles for the American Foundation for the Blind, via the
Vision Aware Blog on the AFB site.
You can check out this organization at: www.afb.org
My first article for Vision Aware came out this week. I want to share it
with you today.
I’ll have another article coming out at that site on January 3 as well. This
is a nice opportunity for me to share some thoughts as we turn the page on
our calendars to 2017.
I am wondering what you are looking forward to in 2017. I am looking
forward to helping other people with sight loss or blindness – to give them
hope and inspiration.
My newest article, “Just One Word, Please!” was published and you can read
it at: Just One Word, Please!
I invite you to add a comment after you read my article and let me know
what “one word” you will choose. Just one word, please! See you in 2017!
TWO:
I’m looking forward to doing so many different writing projects for
literary magazines and the publication of my latest book in early 2017.
I started work on Walking by Inner Vision: Stories of Light and Dreams
about 7 years ago. It was after working for 2 years to relearn how to use a
computer again after my own sight loss in 2007. The learning curve has been
tremendously difficult, but day by day, I have achieved my intentions. Now,
I am proud to say I have completed the draft for the book of stories, all
written after my sight loss. It is now at the editors/publishers in Denver,
Colorado. I am looking for a release of the book in early 2017.
What a thrill this is for me to stand back and see how it all came together.
I’ll let you know when the book is available.
Happy New Year,
Lynda Lambert
