[stylist] How is Everyone Doing?

Hi, Vejas.
Well, I'm still in the high-market rent situation.
That is, most of my disability check goes to rent. I don't have a rental 
subsidy, and it keeps increasing year after year.
At one time, people with disabilities were top priority for subsidized 
housing. Now, we're expected to wait like everyone else.
This wasn't so in my twenties.
In my thirties, I lost track of Canada, as I married an American, had two 
kids and moved to Maui.
After my health and my marriage broke down, I returned to my home and native 
land to find this mess.

My ex has passed away, and my kids are trying to get on their own feet as 
college-age young adults.
So I'm going to see if Amazon Kindle will accept the novelette I sent 
yesterday for comment, for publication.

I'd really like to find a writing buddy, perhaps one who can illustrate some 
of my stories, or someone who can help me put my books in the right format 
for submission.

I'd like to start earning money as a writer. Just in case I don't find 
rental subsidy soon.
That, and I'd like to see what the general population would make of my work. 
Would they like it?

Anyway, that's about it for me. How are you doing?

I got inspired to write a short story by watching a nature
documentary.
I really like how one person's work can pollinate another's.

Hi All,
I don't think I've posted in a few months, but just wanted to
know how everyone's doing.  Traffic on this list seems to be
fairly light.
I just finished my first year of college.  I have still been
writing a fair amount (but nothing short enough to post on
Stylist-it's a longer-term project).  I've also started reading
an English author named Nick Hornby, who is a New York Times
bestselling author (for these of you who are familiar with him,
I've read A Long Way Down, An Education and am now in the middle
of How to Be Good).
Anyway, hope everyone is well.
