Notice of Writers' Division Gathering on April 30 Greetings Writers'
Division members! The month of May is moving right along. This means that in
two weeks it will be time for our monthly conference call which will occur
on Sunday May 28 at 8:00 PM eastern, 7:00 PM central, 6:00 Pm mountain and
5:00 pm pacific.

On May 28, Bridgit Kuenning-Pollpeter will be informing us about her MFA and
various writing experiences. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska
Omaha with her BFA in creative writing. She's currently pursuing her MFA in
writing from UNO.

Kuenning-Pollpeter blogged for Live Well Nebraska, a website of The Omaha
World Herald. Her blogs were frequently featured in the Living section of
the Omaha World Herald. Local groups and organizations requested her as a
motivational speaker.

Her essays and short memoirs have been published in Breath and Shadow, 13th
Floor, Magnets and Ladders, Slate and Style and UNOs alum magazine, Comm
UNO. She was senior editor for Slate & Style and The Nebraska Independent.
She does various PR writing for The National Federation of the Blind.

Kuenning-Pollpeter lives in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband and two sons.
