A simple google search returned about 42,800 results. There seems to be a
wide range of accuracy and out there with respect to the contents of these
hits. When I was in grad school the second time, Grice was presented as
having provided a set of ideas specific to one-way communication (and thus
particularly useful in marketing and tech publishing, among other things),
and a fair number of the hits I checked are now interpreting the maxims as
relevant to two-way communication.
FWIW, I still see them as particular to one-way communication, but one
perhaps has to move with the flow -- even if we choose to live in a bubble
we get carried with the current!

also less informative than the others. Here's hoping that they all fulfill
Grice's ideas!
