[Stylist] A Quick Question About GoodReads Authors

Hi Mark,
Check on Goodreads because they allow other giveaways. They cost money now but you could at one time sign up for a book giveaway for free if you gave away hard copies of your book. I gave away several copies of two of my books. I tried to sign up to get away some additional copies of my books and found that now in order to give away print copies you need to pay them. They have several different packages but it doesn’t look like you can give away only print copies and do the work yourself. I thought that was useful till they started charging to give away print. You might find the package is useful but I found it a little annoying because I could mail the books myself and not have them do it. They do have services where they away e-books and do the promoting and marketing but if you want to do it yourself you have to pay them now. I know I have said that a couple times already. It was good because many people signed up to get a free book and also I found that many people put my books on their shelves to read. I don’t know that they have purchased them but they certainly did add them to their bookshelf. I was sad to see that I could no longer sign up for a print to give away. I would usually get five copies away and have 300 people put the book on their shelves. You can choose the number of books that you give away So check into that and see if any of that would be useful for you. I will probably go to a different site to do giveaways. Giving and promoting is a slow process and I’m probably one of the slowest people to do it but it gets done shortly. I just thought I would give you a heads up on the good reads giveaway program. Have a great day I will look at your page. And also I have used the plug on the other page so you can read my blog also I need to update it but I put my link to my blog post on Facebook and it gets a lot of rates. I haven’t sold many books online I tend to sell more print copies. But if you want to do some more marketing you might try draft number two and digital.com they’re publishing platform is a little bit easier and they distribute which you probably know about but now they have audiobook options so I am working in the wrap The site is called draft2digital.com

Good luck with all of that. Thank you for asking about Goodreads because I have mentioned it before and no one has responded so I am glad to see that someone on the list knows about it. I think I found it from someone’s post on Facebook I don’t even remember now how I found it. Have a great day and keep dreaming :-) pilot and prince say have a good night. Pilot and prints are kittens :-)
