If I recall correctly, you were particularly interested in Mrs. Talbott--who and what she was, etc.
A lot of things have changed since the first draft.
There's more about Mrs. Talbott's true origins, and she plays a role in later books in the series.
And the planet of Andorpha is a euphoric utopia with strict laws for those who do not toe the line.
Still a utopia, though, and if it existed, I'd go there in a heartbeat, find me a nice Andorphian man, and get the cuddling of my life.
