Shelly, today is our wedding anniversary, and our children and , grandchildren are taking us to see the play "Hamilton". I missed last month's meeting call, and I'm sorry I cannot hear tonight either. I hope that gets resolved, because I really enjoy hearing them when I'm unavailable on Sunday evenings.
Ciao,
Janet

Subject: [Stylist] Notice of Writers Division gathering Sunday, May 27

Hello Writers,

First, let me apologize for the late release of these gathering notes. I have been dealing this week with the loss of my second cat, Brandy, Pearl's editing assistant. Brandy was more about herself and eating on time than editing, but she was a very big life force in this house. I expressed to one of my local friends that I was writing down all my memories of Brandy.
"I can't wait to read that book," she said.
Funny, I hadn't thought of a book, but then the idea occurred to me. I've written stories online about my cats and they have received many hits over the years. So, why not write a book? We as writers can think of many things to write about. Maybe the work is already done for us. Thinking of this idea has helped inspire the topic for tomorrow's gathering.
ON Sunday May 27, yes that is tomorrow if you're reading this on Saturday, today if you're reading this on Sunday, we will have a conversation-based gathering. Our topic this month will be The Creative Catalyst. With so many writers working on projects in our division and the list, it is time to pause and talk about the things that inspire us. Sometimes, in my case, I never know where those inspirations will lead. I bet it's the same for many of us. Those of you who can outline a book or story in advance, more power to you. Come share the secrets that make you tick. NO matter how you put together your stories, come prepared to share and spur each of us on to further creativity.

A note on recording calls. I need to contact Freeconferencecall.com to find out why our calls are not being recorded. I have tried for two gatherings to make the instructions in the manual work. I have been unsuccessful and I wonder if it isn't because I have the same area code as the originating organization. They are located in Ca and my number is a California number. I did notice when I had a Texas number that I could record calls using that phone number. I don't have that number anymore. I will investigate and hopefully we will be in the recording business within the next few months. I know some of you enjoy listening to the recorded calls. We hope to have a solution, soon.

In the meantime, on Sudnay May 27, our call will take place at 8:00 Pm eastern, 7:00 PM central, 6:00 Pm mountain, 5:00 PM pacific.

In order to respect the time commitments of others we will keep the call to one hour. To join our call, dial (515)739-1033 and enter access code 568839 followed by the pound sign.
See you then!
