[Stylist] Have you lost it?

I can understand Jackie's difficulties - this is what I am experiencing as
well.
I got all new equipment and programs some months ago. Since then, the
problems I have are often a struggle to get through. But I don't want to
look a gift horse in the mouth, so I'll soldier on. Despite all of it, I
continue to do whatever I need to do - it just takes me a lot longer than it
used to with my old equipment. I try not to look backwards with regret -

Yes, I keep my essays and poems that I am working on in a folder called,
"In-Process." But I am not always consistent in anything - it so happens
that many times I compose right on the blog page. I know. Not a good idea.
Id say I've learned my lesson, but that would be a lie. Often when I lose
something by choice, or by chance, what comes after that loss is really
something better and in the end I am glad it happened. But, oh, it is
stressful, isn't it!

Well, September 30 deadlines are looming ahead for those of us who actively
put out our work. I wish you all good luck and good results for your
submissions in the fall season. I'll have my nose to the keyboard for the
next few days before I take off for the APH convention in Louisville. If
anyone in our group is attending, please let me know and I'd love to meet
you in person. My sister from Ohio, and 2 of my PA daughters will be
attending the weekend with me. I am so lucky to have the support of my
family and proud to have them along. I'm looking forward to another
wonderful visit to Louisville and some great late-night pizza at Spinelli's
on Thursday night. Friday night, after the reception and awards banquet,
we'll be down town for the concert and some drinks. All[s well.
Lynda

I have lost writing on occasion and it's very sad, but more often than not
during the times I "lost it", I deleted the story because I didn't like it
anymore or didn't think it would go anywhere. I really regret some of what I
lost through that method. I now have a new folder on my Braille note called
"Incomplete Stories", to put anything in I may not like so that I have the
chance to get back to it later.
