Barbara, you made me smile - don't you hate it when you hit the send button and then - thee it is - a big typo right up front?
I sure know how that feels for I always say I sometimes think I must be the Queen of Typos. Grrrr. Lynda

I see a typo right off the bat. The poem is entitled FISH EYES, not HISH EYES. BRAILLE typo. Barbara Hammel

I’m not at all satisfied with it so if you have any suggestions for word substitutes I’d be happy to entertain them The only criteria, it seems, for this poem is that the lines all must have eleven syllables. I like the flow best of the beginning lines. Also, if format does not come through, besides eleven syllable lines, this poem is formatted in couplets.
