Dear writers at NFB,

I hope your summer day, today, is the best one  EVER.  There is so much to
write about in the summertime.

Everything is so alive and thriving and the beauty of the entire earth
fills me with  joy and happiness.   

 

I’m enjoying my day and will be receiving 2 of my daughters who will be
arriving later today.

One from KY and one from Indiana, PA
so happy about that. I am anxious for
them to see my lily gardens  which I began to develop 3 summer’s ago. They
will  be amazed.  I love working in my gardens so much and I love  sharing
them with friends who come to visit. There is so much to be thankful for in
this world.

 

I am sharing an article that came out on Smorgasbord  Blog Magazine
yesterday – I am featured in Sally’s Café and Bookstore – on that site.

It is edited by UK author Sally Cronin.  It is a tremendous magazine and you
may want to submit work to it in the future.

I posted  this excerpt on both of my blogs today – and you can click on the
link here to get to the magazine and see what all is there that you might be
interested in for your own writings.   This magazine is from the UK, and has
a world-wide readership . 

 

I had a great week – not only this really nice article by Sally, but I also
heard from the American Printing House for the Blind and learned that my
mixed-media fiber work “I Only Have Eyes for You,” has won first place in
the juried exhibition – InSights20.   The show opens in October, but  the
jurors selected the work and the awards this past week.  This is a wonderful
show – held in Louisville, KY each  year.   They will be hosting it via the
internet this year .
