[Stylist] Methods for writing

Hello,

I also love the BrailleNote and have used it since grade 7 to write stories, journals, and other things. I currently use a BrailleNote apex. The privacy is great, and I love the word processor overall and how you can just directly write in Braille and see how many Braille pages you are along in your story, etc.

I also use TextEdit on the Mac. It doesn't have all the features of some word processors, but it's pretty responsive and less fuss to deal with than Pages. I have a techy friend who gave me a word count script I use in TextEdit, so other than page count, it gives me everything I need. There also aren't any particular privacy features, but I just don't share my writing with anyone until I'm ready to and I don't know anyone who would snoop around on my Mac, except maybe my sister, but she wont' look if I tell her not to and she's always the first person I share stories with anyway.

i used to use Microsoft word 2003 and then 2007, but I no longer have a Windows computer that works well and Word wasn't accessible on the Mac the last time I checked, although maybe that has changed.

I don't like writing on the iPhone, but I have used iTextPad back when there were less writing apps on iOS and had some success. I'm sure there are better apps now, but I just don't find the iPhone works that great for me for writing.

Warm regards,
Jessica

I like how the braillenote's word processor responds easily to quick typing. As an added bonus, the documents are in KWB (keyword Braille) format, and are only readable to most people if I save them in a more standard format such as Microsoft Word, so I have always appreciated the privacy this has given me.

The word processor on it seems pretty good, but I wanted to ask you all which devices you use to write, and also which applications you find work best. I have tried Pages on the iPhone, which is decent but not always as quick as I would like.
