Hi Barbara, 
Congrats to your husband for getting second place at NFB convention's LOL Comedy Night! 
I especially enjoyed his story about the writing on the cake and his rendition of "Yesterday", and I felt I could appreciate the jokes about old age even though I am not in that age bracket. 
I have never done a comedy routine before, and have only done some improv in very casual settings, so hats off to these who do!
