Subject: Preview in issue 1010

Hello, contributors to Bewildering Stories’ issue 1010.

This is your preview notice for your work in issue 1010. Please pardon the generic nature of this message; it’s going to all the contributors in the issue. The preview link can be found at the end of this message.

• Our Preview Procedure web page <http://www.bewilderingstories.com/special/preview_procedure.html> tells how to report changes, and it offers some opportunities, as well. "Excerpts," in section 5, offers one that is often overlooked.

• Bewildering Stories' proofreading is ongoing throughout the week. Please base any changes on the on-line text, not on the original manuscript.

• After the weekend, please remember to save a copy of the on-line version of your work for your own records. All issues can be easily accessed from the "All Issues" index, and links to the current quarter's issues are listed on the home page.

• New contributors' bio pages are normally posted on Sunday. The bio page link is located in the copyright line at the bottom of each contributor's pages. Few contributors are aware of it. Please check your link to help make sure your bio page will be accessible to your readers.

• Veteran contributors' BwS bibliographies are updated on request, as soon as possible. To bring yours up to date, please send an e-mail citing the new titles and their issue numbers; they're all that's needed. An easy reference for reminders: Titles, Authors, Genres Index <http://www.bwsindex.co.uk/> .

• Departments are usually added during the weekend. The customary Challenge is often added to as the Review Editors' discussion comes in. Readers' and contributors' responses are welcome and may appear in a future issue or even the current one, if received in time.

• Feel free to enjoy the rest of the issue as a “sneak preview.”

Cautions:

• The preview link is temporary; the official link will appear on the home page at about 24h00 Sunday GMT minus 5 (Eastern time in North America). The official link will merely shed the "1010" in the filename. Thereafter, you can access the Readers’ Guide from the home page but not from this e-mail.

• Please make sure you have a bookmark in your Net browser for www.bewilderingstories.com <http://www.bewilderingstories.com/> .

• Here’s the preview link: http://www.bewilderingstories.com/issue1010/1010blurb.html
