Winter Man

 

 

Jolly white bearded men appear

 

when the ground  is frosted and sleepy

 

a ready smile and twinkle in the eye

 

did he pluck a candy from behind your ear?

 

some say he is an Urban Myth

 

a commercial pretense

 

or  the world's  nicest Wise Guy

 

attended by a North pole mafioso

 

slaloming across  time zones

 

tracked by NORAD
