[Stylist] Establishing New Blind Writing Group

I am in favor of an independent email group list as well. I find google groups a bit more tech-heavy, though with JAWS but I also tend to stay with what I know and use regularly, which is groups.io, 😊

Going the stand-alone community route is preferred here. Blind writers could participate regardless of which organization of the blind they belong to. Both NFB and ACB have budding and professional blind authors and those who could provide valuable information for everyone no matter where you are in your writing career. A stand-alone community free of political agendas and long-standing policies that prohibit one's joining particular organizations of the blind. It's time that Berlin Wall came down! Forming a stand-alone community of blind writers will start that process. One piece of that Berlin Wall gone!

Hey everyone,
I think it would be so cool if we could sort of restart the mailing list again. And since there’s already so many replies to this message. I personally don’t want to spend all my time on Facebook, so I feel that a mailing list would be more separate and would be more professional. And we can still address everything we would want regarding writing. I I will try and reach out to the person that oversees all the mailing lists, to see if we can restart the mailing list.
