Hi Shelley,

I really do appreciate your work with the Writers Division and it has gone through some excellent times!

I am also not really in a place to start a new division but I'd be happy to give my email as well if anyone wants to tact me: alpineimagination at gmail.com <mailto:alpineimagination at gmail.com> .

I sincerefor thank Stylist and its current and former members for really helping me become a better writer. I am mostly a hobby writer who is not interested in getting published and I have a career in another field, but writing so important in any kind of work and the kindness and lack of judgment I received when I joined in my mid-teens has meant a lot to me.

My apologies for the accidental attempt to unsubscribe you. I was trying to unsubscribe myself and did not notice that your name was there.

National thought that it was best to dissolve our division because there was lack of activity. It would be nice to have another writer‘s division or something similar. If you choose to start one, I will not be involved because I have my hands full and cannot possibly take on that responsibility again. But I wish you the best of luck. Thank you.

I never saw an email about the ending of the writer's division.

I vote to keep this or a new group alive whether connected to NFB or not.

Well I don't know about anybody else but I am a quiet retiring fellow. I'd rather write than write about my writing if you get what I'm saying but I do have a cunundrum with a story that I am working on so perhaps you good people Might be of some HELP andor assistance with it. I shall however perforce start another thread!

Dave NEVER shuts email lists down! There are some been dead for years they still just sitting there so since it's still here why not use it. I know that it is more than one's life is worth to be critical ofthe Great and Mighty NFB but I must say seems more than a little arbitrary to me. We can start OUR OWN writers Group. I also never received the email and I'm sorry to hear it shut down. This list was very helpful in 2011 when I first started writing. I appreciate the contributions from everyone and found the prompts (around 2011-17) to be very helpful with people giving each other muual feedback about their writing. Also the youth writers' workshops before that.

Hm. I am surprised this email list is still up. I made the assumption it was shut down a few months ago after Shelly made the announcement.

If anyone wants to keep in touch with me, my email is anniecms64 at gmail.com <mailto:anniecms64 at gmail.com> .

I had no idea that the writers division was dissolved. Can you share what led to this and what could be done to resurrect it?

Best,

Kevin
