Parents and teachers are a valuable part of the community, as long as they recognize that they are supporting figures. Their lack of a disability and personal experience does not make them non-entities. Also, not my project I am just a supporting organizer. but I would never tell my mom she couldn’t speak on the experience of raising a blind child, I could just tell her she can’t speak on the life of a blind person.
