Truthfully, I can't remember if it was determined whether or not there'd be a Writers' Round-Up this month so I've determined there will be. I know our illustrious president is partying with her family in the Golden State but this is the month for Memorial
Day and right now my life is drowning in sorrow so I thought this Thursday we could get together and share some of our sad writings. Sharing grief is part of the healing process, whether your grief is fresh or decades old, whether it's for the death of a loved
one or a pet, the loss of your former way of life or saying good-bye to a dream that can never be.

<div>For me, I just had to say good-bye to a dear, childhood friend and am in the end-of-life care decisions of another almost-30-year friend. We spend our younger years gathering people to us only to spend our mid- to later years letting them all go. </div>
