It’s June already, how did it happen? <span style='font-family:"Segoe UI Emoji",sans-serif'>😕</span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The experts say it takes a year or longer to acclimate to a new home and location. I think the estimate is correct. Jerry and I are at the point where the inside of the house is how we want it. Now we are working on improving the outside. Jerry bee proofed the eaves from carpenter bees by caulking and flushing the nests with pesticide. We only got rid of the ones who were already nesting and deterred the rest with an electric fly swatter. It doesn’t kill them, instead it shocks them enough to remind them not to like our house anymore. It worked. We are using a natural pesticide with mint oil and it is working.
