There</span><br><span>were a total of 35 participants for the first workshop wherein they</span><br><span>were trained on meaning of colors, different tactile materials they</span><br><span>can use, execution on canvas, etc. Following this, 16 of them were</span><br><span>filtered for the main workshop. Before the big day, I had one-to-one</span><br><span>conversation with them discussing their themes and how they can create</span><br><span>their paintings. I had also shared a color reference sheet with the</span><br><span>participants which helped them understand colors of different elements</span><br><span>in nature. It certainly helped participants with congenital blindness</span><br><span>as they wouldn't have seen colors before. It was so exciting to see</span><br><span>them finally create their master pieces on the big day. All their</span><br><span>paintings were on display at the exhibit wherein both sighted and</span><br><span>visually impaired had come down to experience and enjoy the tactile</span><br><span>paintings. The moments spent in bringing all this together will always</span><br><span>be close to my heart.</span><br><span>I remember you saying that you'd attend the NFB convention this year.</span><br><span>How did it go?
