Hi all,<br>
<br>
Hope you all are keeping safe given the current crisis. In a way, for<br>
most of us staying at home has given us an opportunity to do things<br>
that we didn?t have time for earlier.<br>
Here?s sharing images of 2 tactile paintings that I did during this<br>
lockdown. The first one is called Cookie and the second one is called<br>
Blue secrets. Below is their description;<br>
Cookie: (12X12 inches)<br>
It's a brown and white color dog holding a black colored steering<br>
wheel with his paws. His black colored eyes and tongue which is out<br>
makes him look naughty as well as innocent. He has long ears and a<br>
red colored collar belt with his name cookie inscribed on it. There's<br>
a small white colored bone towards the top right of the canvas. The<br>
whole of the background is colored in orange.<br>

Blue secrets: (22X15 inches)<br>
it?s a landscape painting of an underwater scene. There?s a sea bed at<br>
the bottom; sea rocks towards the left and the right sides and gravel<br>
in between. There?s a pink colored starfish towards the right side<br>
and a treasure chest on the left side. It has jewels, gold coins and a<br>
cutlass. The sea bed also has sea weeds growing wildly here and<br>
there. As for the water which covers almost three quarters of the<br>
painting, there are a total of five fishes swimming in it; two orange<br>
with white striped ones towards the left and three yellow with blue<br>
striped ones towards the right. The outline of bubbles here and there<br>
certainly gives the sea a realistic look.<br>
The reason I did this painting is to give an idea of how underwater<br>
looks to those with vision loss.<br>
