Just as an FYI:  I sent a copy of the NFB resolution about these scooters to
my city councilman about 3 or 4 4 weeks ago, but haven't heard back from
him.

This is a bit time-sensitive, but here is a study being conducted by the
Metro Area Partnership. It is a survey about having eScooters in downtown
Des Moines. It is open through the nineteenth of this month:

As a side note, one of the major providers of these scooters, Lime, is
laying off staff. There are also a lot of studies that suggest that injuries
to riders of these things are multiplying.
