[Tall-Corn] Dues Reminders

Greetings, If this reminder has been sent out on this list I haven't seen
it. 

 

All of the chapters in the NFBI are required to submit current membership
lists to the NFBI on or before January 1 of each year. That means of course,
if you haven't paid your dues to your local chapter it is time to do so.
When you pay your dues you should also make sure that your treasurer has
your contact information. Of course the NFBI also submits the current list
the National List as soon as the chapters send the information in. 

 

You aren't sure if you are current  with your chapter? Well, contact your
officers and make sure. Remember, to vote at convention or to run for office
you must be a current member. 

 

The strength and effectiveness of our affiliate depends on all of our
membership taking an active role in making decisions and in carrying out the
programs and policies of the Federation. For example, we passed some very
fine resolutions at the State Convention this fall. One resolution dealt
with accessible voting and another has to do with receiving documents from
the Department of Human Services in an accessible format. What happens with
all of these depends on each of us doing our part to let members of the Iowa
Legislature and other State officials know that these policies are important
to each of us. 

 

We need your help to keep all of our records current.  Thank you for your
help in doing this.
