Good Evening Federation Family:
The 2023 Washington seminar is fast approaching. The dates are January
30-February 2, 2023. Currently, we are planning for a fully in-person
meeting schedule with maybe a couple of vary rare exceptions. For the most
updated Washington Seminar information please visit.

The National Federation of the Blind of Iowa will have limited funding
available for those wishing to attend Washington Seminar for 2023, and more
details on the funding request process will be posted in the next few days.
Funding applications will need to be received no later than January 1, 2023,
so they can be reviewed and acted upon in a timely manner. In the meantime,
if you are interested in helping with activities that go on in advance of
our days in Washington D.C. such as appointment scheduling, etc. please get
with me or our Washington Seminar legislative director, Chelsea Van Gorp.
The seminar page will be updated with links to training that will occur in
January as well as the issues which are being decided on currently at the
national level.
We are looking forward to the first gathering we've had on Capitol Hill
since 2020, and we would love for you to be there! Please reach out if there
are any questions!
