Good Evening Federation Family:

Hopefully by now you've heard from your chapter leaders on how and where to
send your chapter dues for 2023. A couple of reminders:

*	Dues must be received by December 31, 2022 to count for the 2023
membership year if you are an existing member. If dues are not received by
your respective treasurer by that date, you do run the risk of being marked
as not having paid or lapsed in the membership database in January when
records are audited.
*	If members are not marked current by January 31, 2023, they will
automatically lapse in the database as of February 1.
*	If dues are not in by December 31, you will not be eligible to take
part in or hold office in January elections.

Every chapter is moving to the calendar year for membership to align with
membership policies at all levels of the organization starting in 2023, and
while this may be a change for some to have dues paid by December 31, this
is a vital step in moving forward with membership practices in the
organization.

One final reminder for those who have paid in October and November, your
dues are going to roll into 2023, so you do not need to pay again. Please
reach out to me or our affiliate membership coordinator, Cindy Ray, if there
are any questions. Chapter presidents or membership coordinators may also be
reaching out to confirm information in the database, so please respond to
those inquiries at we are trying to clear up any inaccuracies that may
exist. Thank you all for your prompt attention to these important matters!
