Subject: [Tall-Corn] Joe Van Lent's Memorial
Importance: High

The time is coming fast. This Saturday, April 15, 11:00 a.m. Place is the
IDB Assembly Room. This celebration of Joe Van Lent's life will be coming
this Saturday and the blind of Iowa should show our appreciation and love
for Joe. He gave most of his life to making life better for blind people.
Whether he was at the Iowa Legislature, a political gathering, a Board
meeting of the Iowa Commission For The Blind, a meeting of any chapter,
division, or statewide function of the NFBI, the Business Enterprise
Program, blind persons anywhere in the United States, over the past forty
plus years if the meeting had importance to blind persons Joe was there.

Come this Saturday and hear what his friends have to say about him.
Afterwards sit down an have food with Joe's friends and family. Lora Van
Lent has put together a great program and spread of food. A gathering of
this magnitude could only be done by Lora Van Lent. Come join us and
celebrate the life of a person who believed in blind people and promoted the
successes of everyone especially people in the Business Enterprise Program.

We are looking forward to seeing a large number of you there. Lora is
planning approximately 100 people let's show her the love we all feel for
Joe and Lora.

Bob Ray
