[Tall-Corn] National Convention Assistance form now available

Good Evening Federation Family:
The National Federation of the Blind of Iowa is once again offering funding
to attend the 2023 convention of the National Federation of the Blind in
Houston from July 1-6. More information and the submission forms can be
found at

a Few things to note when applying for assistance.
* This is a limited funding opportunity. Depending on the number of
requests, not all of them may be able to be honored. If you are going to
convention for the first time and did not apply for or receive a Kenneth
Jernigan convention scholarship, you may be eligible for funding through the
gifts and bequests fund from the Iowa Department for the Blind. Please
contact the department for more information.
* Please read the requirements on the form carefully including the
requirements to attend convention sessions, the banquet, and working a shift
at the Iowa exhibit table.
* Deadline for all submissions is May 31, 2023. If you are mailing in
the printable form, please allow sufficient time for your form to be
received.
* Funding decisions will be made and communicated by June 15, 2023.
