Good Evening Federation Family:

The 2024 Washington Seminar is fast approaching. The dates are January
29-February 1, 2024. For more information including hotel pricing and
reservation details, please go to

https://nfb.org/programs-services/advocacy/washington-seminar

Hotel reservations must be in by December 31, 2023.

If you are planning to attend, please let me know as soon as possible so
that I know what the Iowa delegation will look like. As in years past, the
Board of Directors has set aside limited funding to send people to
Washington D.C. If you are in need of such funding, please get your request
in no later than December 31, 2023, and I will have decisions made by
January 15, 2024 so that I can let you and our treasurer know what to
expect. Normally funds are disbursed in Washington D.C., but if other
arrangements need to be made, please let me know so that can be considered.

The 2024 issues have not been put out yet, but once they are, we'll
definitely share them and set up at least one meeting to go through them and
prepare people for the congressional meetings. The national organization may
also do trainings as in years past, so be on the look out for that
information as well.

I hope Iowa has a good turnout this year. We will try to get all of our
meetings in Tuesday and Wednesday if possible so that we can get back to
Iowa and continue the work of pushing our issues. I hope to see some of you
in Washington!
