[Tall-Corn] Today's Des Moines Register article re government reorganization bill

Greetings colleagues,

I hope you all saw the article I'm referencing.  I'm not going to quote 
from it here, partly because I don't wish to wade through all the right 
wing talking points to excerpt anything.

It seems to me that Jason Schultz and others have a rather condescending 
attitude toward us, as well as patrons of public libraries and many 
others.  However, Schultz's comments re our issues with the bill 
demonstrate that he thinks he knows more about what blind people need than 
we do.  I suggest we ring his phone off the hook until this bill is dealt 
with and remind him quite strongly that we know best what works for us and 
we're not going to stand idly by and let him wreck all sorts of services 
for Iowans.
